Catching up w/ an old friend

WELL I got to catch up with an old friend from Jr High, Sarah Walker she moved away and we lost touch. She is now living in Texas but she came home for Christmas and we got together for a short visit. It was great , but not long enough. We will stay in touch this time I love to reconnect with old friends.

Christmas Caroling

Hannah went Christmas Caroling with her Brownie troop. They went to an assisted living home close to where we live the girls sang them a few song s then passed out cookies and hot chocolate.I think they did a great job for as young as they all are.

COLTS GAME

Chris and Abby went to their very first Colts Football game. Chris won tickets through his work (Comcast) THey got to sit in a auit and had all they wanted to eat for free. You cant get any better than that. They got some pretty good pics of the players.

Abby's Band concert

Abby is in her 1st year of band playing the Flute. Along with the 7th and 8th grade they put on a Christmas concert. I thought they did a great job. This being their first year ( 6th grade) It was kinda hard to get good pics with all the kids and the bad lighting.

Father Daughter Dance

Hannah is in a Brownie troop for the first time this year. How fun is this, Her troop was in charge of the Father Daughter dance this year, all the girls chose a Luau theme. Very cute all the girls dressed up and some of the dads to.

FIRST SNOW

Well we had our first good snow on November 30th.
It was such a good stickin snow that Abby and Hannah went out and built a snowman. I thought it turned out very cute. But by the end of the day it had warmed up and started to fall apart I am sure it won't be the last on.

Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we went to the Campbells Pumpkin Patch In Wabash it is alot of fun they have a hay ride, fire to sit by & keep warm, A hay maze for the kids, snack bar and much more. We went with my mother and some very close friends of ours. It's always alot of fun to watch the kis decide on just the right pumpkin.

something new

This is something new for me. I thought I would try my hand at it. My Best Friend Helen has a blog and she lives far away, so this is how I keep up on what is going on with her and her family. Because we don't always have time to talk on the phone.( Busy moms doing busy mom work)I hope I get the hang of this it looks like alot of fun.
